Overview

Code Enforcement enforces city codes which reflect the standards of our community. Codes are enforced in an effort to provide a safe and enjoyable environment for you and your family to live in. We work together to create and maintain a beautiful community with sustained property values and a low crime rate. Code Enforcement is responsible for ensuring that residents and property owners are in compliance with current city codes.

Plain City's greatness comes from the extraordinary acts of ordinary citizens. The Public Works Department promotes empowering Plain City residents to solve local problems through voluntary personal and community service. Civilians have a desire and aptitude to organize themselves apart from government to address the needs in their communities.

Code Enforcement is overseen by Public Works Director, Dan Schuler.
