2026 General Plan Document Center

Help Shape The Future of Plain City!

Plain City is currently updating its General Plan - a long-term vision that will guide how our community grows and changes over the next 20 years. As part of this process, we are also updating our zoning and land use ordinances to ensure they are consistent with the community's goals and values.

This is a two-part initiative: first, we will update the General Plan to reflect current conditions and community priorities; then, we will update the land use code to implement that vision on the ground. Proposed changes to both documents will be considered for adoption by the end of 2026.

This is where your voice matters most! The documents and materials linked below are the working drafts that City leaders will be discussing in the coming months. We invite you to review these materials and share your feedback. Your input will directly inform the decisions that shape Plain City's future.

Thank you for all of your input over the summer.

The draft plan is now taking shape and we want to see if we heard you correctly.
