Overview

Plain City Justice Court handles Class B and C misdemeanors, small claims, traffic violations, and city code violations.

Court Hours

Court is held every 2nd and 4th Thursday at 9 am (excluding holidays).

Appointment required. Walk-ins are NOT accepted. Call 801-731-4908 to schedule.

Paying a Citation

Planning to dispute your charges or request a special program? Do not pay. Call the court at 801-731-4908 to schedule a court date.

Citations can be paid:

• Online – pay here (opens in a new tab) (citation or case number required)
• By phone – 801-731-4908
• In person – cash, check, money order, or credit card
• By mail – check or money order

Credit/debit card payments include a service fee (2.5%, $2.50 minimum). Don't have your citation or case number? Call 801-731-4908.
